My images capture people from different backgrounds, cultures and different ages being bought together in a small space, sometimes chatting, sleeping, reading, listening to music, staring into space or trying to avoid the glance of others.
…will they settle down or jump off at the next stop?
Sketching has to be fast; detail and colour are added in later. Trying to be as unobtrusive as possible I’m developing the art of anticipating peoples movements – will they settle down or jump off at the next stop? Not always easy on a crowded train!
