Absolut always have their finger in a creative pie, be it commissioning artists to decorate limited edition bottles or investing in art exhibitions and projects. This time, the Swedish vodka company have taken it a whole step further, by partnering with graphic artist Rafael Grampá to create a film written entirely with submissions from the public.

In a unique crowd-sourcing project, Grampá started out with a character (Vincent Black) and waited on submissions from the public as to the next scene of the film. Once the winner was chosen from thousands of submissions across the world, Grampá got to work on sketching out the next scene in the story. The result is an animated film, #NEXTFRAME, a work in progress which is sure to produce some exciting results.

If you can’t wait until the film is out to get a slice of Absolut creativity, how about getting a taste of carnival dreaming? Absolut have just released a new limited-edition vodka, Absolut Karnival, that combines passion fruit and orange blossom with artwork evocative of Brazilian street carnivals. The perfect antidote to the terrible weather we’re having, it’s on sale now, but only 500 have been produced, so get it before it goes!
