For the past few months, we here at Mouth London have been counting the days until the start of Bestival, our top choice for Festival Of The Summer, exciting ourselves at the prospect of spending four days listening to some of our favourite bands. And now, with the latest news from the Rob Da Bank brainchild, we have even more acts ready to draw us in, as they build the hype for the Desert Island Disco.
The Bestival team have garnered more help from live acts such as La Roux and Reverend And The Makers, and DJs such as Jimmy Edgar and Nightwave, in order to make this perhaps the most eclectic line-up at their disposal. Dubbed an environment of “non-stop parties and joyous, 24-hour escapism”, Bestival takes pride in the fact that not only are they creating an environment to suit everyone’s musical tastes, but they are also creating a world where, no matter your party-time body-clock, there will be something go on across the site to keep you entertained. For me it will the Dub Pistols, as their song, Cyclone, has been a personal favourite for over a decade.
