Come one! Come all! On 19 May Shoreditch will hold the annual Stag and Dagger festival. For those of you who are not aware of this event it will be a showcase of the very finest live acts. The best part of all is one ticket gives you access to all the venues. Not too shabby for only £13.50 of your shrapnel.

The line-up thus far includes such acts as CocknBullKid, New Young Pony Club and Echo Lake to name a few. There are roughly twenty-one venues peppered around Shoreditch with confirmed locations like Café 1001, Hoxton Bar and Kitchen and The Stag’s Head.

…the festival’s emblem is a pretty cool topless lady…

It’s a heady combination of good music, good people and quite likely some liquid festivities. For me that’s a BIG win. Plus the festival’s emblem is a pretty cool topless lady, stag’s antlers and double daggers. You can’t ask for much more can you?

Glasgow is also holding this event on 21 May so all the Scots out there – you have no excuse! Or for any gung-ho revellers that loved it so much the first time, you can get an encore of the festival. Book now to avoid disappointment and don’t forget to bring your IDs (for those evergreen types).  Check out for full details. See you there.
