There are those that are simply remembered and those that are known as legends. Pete Townshend is of the latter variety.

Being part of the Band, The Who, has led Townshend to be part of the one of the most influential bands of the 60s and 70s and recently he has released his memoirs Who I am.

…He worked on TV themes, adverts and radio jingles…

The book delves into his personal life beyond his fame and explores the work that got him to where he is today. Not only was he the primary writer for The Who, but he was a writer of several hit rock operas. He worked on TV themes, adverts and radio jingles.

With a career spanning decades the book takes us behind the scenes and literally spills the beans on the lifestyle and fame that The Who gave him. But on a sweeter scale the book does delve into his love of his companion, his dogs and his plans for a new musical.
