Technology comes in leaps and bounds.
I am still surprised by the things that come on the market. Sharper sound, picture and design has led us to need products that simplify our lives. For instance the other day I was making dinner and the simplest of tasks (cutting vegetables) became a nightmare.
Unfortunately my running playlist (I am not sure why I picked a high octane set of songs to cook to) was too loud so I had opted to wear headphones. The wire kept getting in the way of me leaning over pots and slicing carrots. After 5 minutes I had had enough.
…The kitchen palaver led to the headphones being thrown across the room…
So that brings me to this review that is simply a godsend. I had been given a Marmitek BoomBoom 230 and I was dying for the excuse to use it. The kitchen palaver led to the headphones being thrown across the room. My fate (and perfectly cut vegetables) now all lay in the hands of a bluetooth stereo home speaker device.
What I really like about 230 is that it is stylish, light and the sound quality is astonishing. Simply hook it up to any Bluetooth enabled sound sources such as iPhone/iPad, Blackberry, Android smartphones, tablets and laptops, and away you go.
…a neat little addition is the extra input for MP3s…
It definitely cooled down the situation and since hooking it to my iPhone I can play music from very far away. Also a neat little addition is the extra input for MP3s in case you don’t have Bluetooth.
All in all the BoomBoom 230 saved dinner and is now a piece of the furniture in my dining room.
