One of the worst aspects about owning an iPhone is the battery life.

There is a reason that the battery life is so bad and that is because the nice people over at Apple want you to keep going back to your charger or Mac and plug yourself back in. While you’re there why don’t you browse other Apple gear? See something new you like? You should buy it!

Even though I own a house and car charger for my beloved mobile, after a long day in London meetings and with a vast train journey home, my phone will be down to 20% if I am lucky. My friend has an iPhone 4 (I have the 4S) and his battery life is just plain awful. He has been reduced to taking a charger with him so when he has a moment he can plug it in at work or at a Pret.

…this is by far the most practical for me…

mophie juiceSo because of my disdain for the battery prowess of the iPhone I was excited to get the chance to play with a mophie juice pack air.

Of all of the tech I have had the chance to review; this is by far the most practical for me. The mophie is stunning with a white finish (you can choose you colour) and comes with easy to-get-going instructions. The mophie comes fully charged and slips over the iPhone like a protective case. After slotting it in you will hear the phone make a beep, and after you slide the small switch to green your mophie is charging your phone.

…That’s almost 36 extra hours…

The power from the mophie will double the charge in your phone. That’s almost 36 extra hours of audio and nine extra hours of video playback.

The case is excellent for travelling, holidays or general day to day use. Although it may be a bit bulky if you are used to have a streamlined case, its well worth it.

Check out the mophie website for more info.
