Everyone has something they don’t like about their body. Its human nature to find flaws in ourselves and even the most perfect looking people look in the mirror and see things they would like to change. That said there are less extreme ways of changing yourself, but some people go the full hog when it comes to their appearance.

According to data collated over 4 years by Transform Cosmetic Surgery, amongst 18-24 year olds, breast augmentation, nose jobs and labia reduction are the top changes. Most likely this can be attributed to the large misrepresentation of body image portrayed in social media and entertainment. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian (her bum) or Wayne Rooney (his hair) show surgical procedures to mass audiences and therefore influence others to jump on the band wagon.

…they need a beautiful and flawless vagina…

Porn has also damaged the younger generations view on sex and warped our perception of what is a perfect body. The designer vagina has birthed from watching chiselled models pound each other, making younger women believe that to get a man that has the perfect body, they need a beautiful and flawless vagina.

Transform Cosmetic Surgery have also created a ‘Brits, Boobs and Botox Map’ to see which procedures are popular in which areas of the country.

The data is quite terrifying that younger people would want to surgically change themselves when they have barely lived part of an average life span. Check out the stats below and let us know how you feel about changing yourself surgically? Would you do it?
